Couples Retreat

Now that Colt was back in Chicago for a while, he and Ellie were going to spend a weekend away together. They haven't had as much time alone together since he was working or was hounded by the kids whenever he was home, lol. Ellie didn't mind but she did want her couples time with him. They booked a room at a retreat where they could enjoy their time together doing activities, dining and whatever else they had for couples there. Luckily for them, they were upgraded to a suite, lol. "This suite is just gorgeous." Ellie said as she walked around the room. "I don't think I'll ever want to leave."

"Well we've gotta leave, but we can make the best of the time that we're here." he said as he placed an arm around her shoulder.

"For sure." she nodded in agreement. "What should we do first?" she asked excitedly. She was just pumped to not have to share him with the kids...and that they were out, lol.

"We live here." he chuckled. "Hard to be tourists."

"I meant in the resort." she sighed. "Maybe we can book a couples massage? Or go to the pool? I don't know, something." she shrugged.

He chuckled and tightened his arms around her. "Ellie, what do -you- want to do?"

She shrugged. "Pool?"

"Get your cute butt into a bathing suit then." he chuckled and let her go.

"Sir yes sir." she said as she grabbed her bathing suit to change into. "I didn't bring a poncho though." she teased as she started to change.

He was a little dumbstruck. "uh.."

"You know..." she said as she started to explain for him, thinking he didn't know what she meant. "When we were on our honeymoon and I told you I was going to have to wear one since according to you, guys look at me." she chuckled. "Or did I say parka?" she thought...and shrugged. "Same thing." she said as she finished changing.

He didn't hear a word she said, honestly. He was too busy checking her out. "Uh..."

She looked at him confused. "Uh?" she asked...and then looked down at herself. "...I gained weight didn't I? I knew I should have laid off all the cookies and chips I've been eating." she said as she grabbed her cover up to put it on over her bathing suit.

He watched her grab her cover up and snapped out of it, moving to stop her from putting the cover up on. "No, no, what are you doing? You look gorgeous."

"Well, you were staring like if something was wrong." she chuckled.

"Babe, trust me when I tell you, -nothing- is wrong with what I'm seeing right now."

She blushed and giggled a little. "Well if you say so." she said. "I believe you then."

"You look so good I wanna say screw the pool." he kissed her forehead.

"Colttttt, we're supposed to act like a touristy couple." she snorted. "We can't tour anything in our room." she teased.

"I can tour you." He grinned and wrapped his arms around her waist.

She giggled. "You mean you still can't get enough of me?" she asked as she wrapped her arms around his neck.

"I don't think I'll ever be able to get enough of you."

"You're so sweet." She said as she kissed him.

"I know." He grinned and kissed her back.

She chuckled. "Well, get ready." She told him. "Unless you plan on going into the pool in your underwear." She teased.
