"Are not." he chuckled and kissed the top of her head.

"Yes I will because we are going back right now."

"I am, I promise." she nodded. "...you know, I kind of don't feel like going to the room.' she chuckled.

"Oh you're bossy." he smirked as he started to lead the way back.

"What do you feel like doing?"

"It's why you picked me."

"I don't know." she shrugged. "I just like spending time alone with you."

"Not to be bossy with me." he smirked.

"Sorry I haven't been around that much." he said.

"You stick around."

"You're working." she shrugged. "I understand completely. It's just when you are home, you're always hogged up by the kids." she chuckled.

"We'll do something real soon." he said. "Just you and me."

"Yeah, now I demand you take me to my present."

"Promise?" she asked as she looked up at him.

"Yes wife." he said as he wrapped an arm around her and led her back to the hotel.

"Promise." he said. "Whatever you want to do. Can't have my favorite girl feeling left out."

"so, do I really have a present or was the fireworks show it? 'Cause if so then it was great."

She giggled. "I won't tell Maddie or Sophia that I'm your favorite. That would make them upset." she said. "But I can't wait." she said as she leaned up to kiss his cheek.

"Nah, I have a gift for you." he said. "It's nothing crazy. Just simple." he told her. "It's back in the room though."

"We'll do something the next time I'm home, how does that sound?"

"If it's you, then I already know i was getting that." she snorted.

"That sounds perfect." she nodded.

"Well...besides that." he winked.

"What'd you want to do in the mean time?"

"Children." she snorted and reminded him.

"I guess we'll go back." she said. "I can't think of anything for right now."

"...welp, I'll have to send them to my Mom." he joked.

"I'm surprised you aren't wiped out."

"Down boy." she snorted.

"I didn't really do too much today. I mostly sat down with Sophia while you guys were on the rides." she said. "She was cranky all day." she said as they started walking back to their room.

He snorted and opened the door for her to walk into the hotel. "I'll control myself."

"She's always cranky." he chuckled.

She walked inside and headed toward the elevator. "You say that often." she chuckled.

"She was extra cranky today. I think it was the heat." she shrugged.

"And sometimes I can."

"She calmed down after she got some ice cream."

"She is just so spoiled." she laughed as she used their key card to open the door.

"It's just not easy to resist you."

"She's my first born." he chuckled. "She's gonna be."

"I'll make myself less resistible."

"And if we have another one?" she asked. "She's going to have to learn she can't be spoiled all the time." she snorted as they walked into the room.

"Lace." he frowned. "I'd still find something irresistible about you."

"Something tells me that's easier said than done."

"What a brat she is." she snorted as she greeted Colt's Mom. "Hi Marcia. How were they?" she asked.

"They were angels. They slept the whole time."

"Thanks mom." he kissed her cheek. "Hope we didn't keep you up too late."
