She showed her the picture. ''That was the first time I met Marcia." she told her. "I cooked dinner at Colt's place and when I was serving her, I managed to knock over some wine and a candle. As you can see the table cloth is burned." she snorted.

"I didn't." she said. "Scott did because he thought the whole thing was hilarious. I am panicking in the picture." she chuckled.

Ellie was going crazy in Colt's apartment, cooking dinner for his Mom. It would be the first time she'd be meeting her. She was keeping it simple and just made spaghetti and had garlic bread in the over for them. "Scott, come taste this." she called out. "Tell me, does it need anything else? She's gonna hate it, isn't she? Should I throw it away? Maybe we should order food instead." she got out all at once. She was nervous as she smoothed out her dress.

"Ellie, shut up." Scott snorted. "This is the fifth time you've asked me to try your spaghetti, it's fine." he said as he pulled her away from the stove. "Everything is going to be fine."

"That's what you think." she said. "I just want her to like me." she shrugged. "If my food sucks, then she's going to think I suck and never approve of me being with you."

She frowned and pouted. "I don't like you anymore." she said as she moved away from him to finish setting up the table.

She finished setting everything up on the table and lit a candle, putting it on the table as well. "No, thank you. Everything is all set." she said and then heard a knock on the door. "Actually, I need a xanax."

She held onto his hand tightly as they went to the door, lol. Once it was opened, Scott's mom smiled. "Hi son." She said as she greeted him with a hug.
