And just like that, he jinxed himself. Sophia started to whimper a bit, crying. Luckily she wasn't a loud crier, but it was enough for them to hear.

Scott looked over at her nervously before getting up to get Sophia out of her bassinet, rocking her awkwardly. "Shh, it's okay."
