Brandon's Day

Punk, Lacy and the kids were going to Chuck E. Cheese for Brandon's birthday. Of course, some kids from Brandon's school were going, as well as Ellie and her kids. Punk had just arrived at the place and found their table, settling in. "So when are people supposed to be getting here?"

"Soon." Lacy said as she let Brandon and Allison go off and play. "I'm excited, this is the first party I've gotten to throw for him. Especially since last year.. well.. y'know."

He nodded a bit. "Well, it'll be fun." he said. "And I'm sure Brandon will enjoy it."

"He looks like it." she laughed a little, watching him go down one of the slides.

"It should be a good day." he said.

Ellie came in with Maddie and Ajay...well Ajay ran towards the table where Punk and Lacy were. "We're here!"

"Hey guys." Lacy said. "Brandon and Allison are playing in the slide if you want to go play."

"Okay!" Ajay said and ran off.

"I stay with Mommy." Maddie said.

"She's been a little under the weather." Ellie said. "Meh, we both have...but we're here for the birthday boy." she chuckled.

"You could have just told us to come pick Ajay up and you could have rested."

"Nah, it's fine. I wanted pizza anyway." she chuckled. "Here's Brandon's gift." she said as she gave Punk a box that contained his gift.

"It better be a cool gift." he smirked.

"Oh it's cool and you'll be jealous."

"That is a huge box." Lacy snorted with a small laugh.

"With the coolest gift ever in it."

"You are just so proud of yourself." Lacy chuckled. "Do you guys want anything?"

"I am." she grinned. "And no thanks, I'm fine."

"Juice." Maddie said. "Please, Layley."

"I have apple juice, is that okay?" She asked.

"Fine." she nodded.

"You don't look so good, bub." Lacy said as she handed her a cup of juice.

"My head hurts." she frowned as she took her juice and took a sip.

"I think it's a cold, but we're going to the doctors this week." Ellie said.

"Well then, sick people out of my kiddo's party." Punk joked.

"Stop it." Lacy chuckled.

"Mommy! Daddy!" Brandon called as he ran over to them. "I have so much fun!"

"So mean, Punkers." Ellie chuckled.

"Always." Punk smirked then looked down at Brandon. "Yeah? What did you go play so far?"

"Me and Ally play on the slides and then we play in the big swimming pool with the balls." he grinned.

"Oh man, that sounds like a lot of fun." Punk said. "You have to play more games so you can get tickets and buy toys." he nodded.

"Play with me?" He asked, looking up at him with a grin.

"Anything you want today, kiddo." he nodded. "Let's go play."

He grabbed his hand and dragged them off, lol.

Lacy laughed a little. "How've you guys been?"

"Minus being sick, we've been good." she said. "Maddie and Ajay are still adjusting to going back to school."
