"If I knew why, I would tell you." she shrugged. "He was just...really weird and I asked him what was wrong. He told me he was having problems with his ex and I told him everything would work out...then it happened."

AJ wasn't sure what to do or think. "Did you...kiss him back?"

She shook her head. "I didn't do anything, just sat there...frozen in shock." she told him. "He pulled away and then he started rushing off once you came in."

She sat there, just waiting for him to say something. She wasn't sure if he was mad at her, wanted to kill Chris...or what.

He couldn't believe...Chris...his best friend...the best man at his wedding. He kissed his wife. He didn't know if he wanted to even call Chris anymore. "Look...I'm gonna take a walk..." he said softly, getting up.

"I'll be back soon." he assured as he grabbed his phone and room key. He just needed to clear his head and think things through.

In the meanwhile....Ellie decided she would take a shower and changed into her pajamas, then Skype with Candice and the kids, until AJ came back.

AJ came back after about 20 minutes. He felt a bit calmer...but that didn't mean he felt any better. "Hey..."

She looked up from the computer screen and then looked back at it. "Okay guys, gotta go. I love you both and I'll see you soon. Behave for Aunt Candice." she said as the kids waved bye and she hung up, then turned her laptop off. "Hey....good walk?"

He felt bad that he cut her time off with the kids. "Yeah, I guess...good session with the kids? How are they?"

Ellie sighed. "Of course I didn't. It just all happened so fast, that I didn't have time to push him away. I literally sat there and didn't respond to his kiss or even move."
