Something to Tell You [Punk/Lacy]

Brandon was back in Chicago with Phil's mother. While Lacy's decision to quit wrestling for the time being was largely unpopular with Phil, she'd made the agreement with him to come with him on the road sometimes. Now was one of those times.

While she'd been off, she still kept busy. She made appearances, did interviews, and a lot of promoting. And among those appearances and interviews were Playboy magazine. They'd approached her a while ago, and originally, she had no intention of posing nude. It wasn't her style. But they sweetened the deal for her, and said that she could pose in lingerie. Well, she'd done that before, and said yes. Before talking to Phil. That didn't settle with him very well, and they got into a small argument, but Lacy helped him see her side of things. Technically, she wasn't nude. She was in her lingerie, and she'd done it for the WWE, but his problem was probably the fact that she was posing for Playboy.

Her magazine had come in, and they sent it to Phil's room. Lacy looked through it, and liked what she saw. She wasn't the size she was before she got pregnant, but she was a little curvier. Fuller in the chest, that was for sure. She wasn't stressing over her weight as much as Ellie did after she had Madison, but she made sure to stay it shape. She looked nice.

Now Playboy was asking for a nude pictorial. This, she was not going to say yes to before talking to Phil. Originally, she had no interest in posing nude, but they were just throwing so much money at her. And as busy as she was, when she semi-retired from wrestling, she stopped bringing in as much money as she used to, and she didn't like that. They weren't poor, but as silly as it sounded, she didn't want Phil being the only breadwinner in the house.

She saw Phil walk out of the bathroom from his shower and smiled. "Morning, babe. My magazine came in today."

Phil came out in his towel and then used another one to dry his hair. "Oh? Let me see." he said as he put on some clothes.

"Here," she handed it to him. "And when you finish looking through it, I kind of want to talk to you about something."

"Alright." he said as he finished getting dressed. He looked through it and nodded. "Damn, you look good in these pictures." he said.

"I'm glad that you like them." She nodded. "Sit down, gotta talk to you about something."

"Uh...okay." he said as he sat on the bed. "Are you pregnant again?" he asked.

"no," she shook her head and grabbed his hand, lacing her fingers with his. She gave him a sweet smile. "Well. Playboy wants me to work with them again. But... kinda... nude."

He shook his head. "Nope, not gonna happen."

She rose an eyebrow, "Uh, what?"

"It's not going to happen." he said. "I thought you didn't want to do that."

"I changed my mind." She let go of his hand. "Why are you telling me what I can and can't do?"

"It's not like I do it all the time." he said as he stood up.

"What makes it okay now?" She asked as she stayed where she was. "You didn't care when Maria posed."

"Maria and I were broken up by then." he said. "It's just...call me selfish, but I think I should be the only one to look at you like that. Not greasy men who just wanna get off by looking at your naked pictures."

"They're going to get off looking at that magazine," she pointed to her magazine in his hand. "So how is it any different?"

"They're used to seeing you like that, being nude would be totally different. Besides, think of what people would say about you. I don't want them saying mean shit to you."

"People say mean shit to me, people say mean shit to you, Phil. It's not like I can stop them."

He shook his head. "They'll say something about being a mother and posing nude, I just know it."

"So?" She shrugged. "Just because I pose nude doesn't mean I'm a bad mom. Why are you fighting me on this?"

"It's just I know the guys backstage will be talking about it and it'll bother me."

"So ignore them." She shrugged. "Phil, I think this is something I want to do."

"Why do you think you need to do this?"

"Because." She shrugged and looked down. She didn't want to answer the question.

"Because what?" he asked.

"Because I feel useless, okay?" She sighed and sat down on the bed. "You make all of the money now, I'm not used to that. Playboy is offering me a lot of money, so why not?"
