Stepping Into Trouble (Chris/Trish)

Trish was dressed in dark blue jeans, a red shirt, and black boots as she walked down the hallway to her room. She was texting and not paying too much attention until she bumped into someone. Trish immediately looked up and ran a hand through her hair.

"Um sorry." Trish said.

the man in question stumbled backwards. "Sorry...you're sorry?" he snapped, grabbing Trish's arm roughly. "Aren't those the same words you used when you signed our divorce papers?" he slurred.

Trish whimpered when she felt his tight squeeze on her arm then tried to remove her arm from his grasp.

"You cheated on me." Trish said.

His grip tightened when she tried to move. "So what? I told you to ignore it." he growled as he started to drag her towards his room.

"I have far much more respect for myself then to deal with a cheating bastard." Trish said.

She then saw him leading her to his room.

"Let me go." Trish said.

He flashed the gun he had. "If I were you, I'd cooperate." he said, getting to his room and opening the door. He shoved Trish inside before going in after her. "Sit on the bed." he ordered.

Trish looked at the gun horrified then slowly backed up towards the bed then sat down.

"Now...I think we should start working things out, Trish...because I'm all out of money." he smirked, knowing his ex-wife made really good money.

"You're not getting a cent from me." Trish said bitterly.

(lol it was a good reason)

"You sure about that, sweetheart?" he smirked, pointing the gun at her.

"V...very true." Trish muttered as she smacked the gun away from her.

He smirked. "you don't sound too confident." he chuckled as he put the gun back to her.

"Why don't you just leave me alone?" Trish asked as she stood up.

"Because I need the money, bitch." he said, sitting her back down.

[[how much longer did we want him to threaten her? lol]]

"Then get a fucking job!" Trish yelled as she stood back up and slapped him across the face.

(Um...he can shoot her now lol)

He felt the slap. "you're gonna regret that." he said, cocking the gun back and firing it at her.

[[we can say she moved so it didn't hit her in a necessarily fatal place but still did a lot of damage~]]

Trish fell to the ground as she wrapped her arms around her abdomen and groaned loudly, feeling the pain from where she got shot.

"Holy shit..." he said, realizing what he did. He dropped the gun and ran off, leaving Trish in the room.

[[felt weird playign such an asshole lol]]

Trish gasped and rolled onto her side then noticed her cell phone out of her bag after she dropped it. She groaned loudly and winced as she slowly crawled over to her phone then reached for it. A little relief went into her body when she grabbed her phone then called Chris' number.

(lol You were good at it.)

Chris was putting some finishing touches on a few chapters of his new book when his phone went off. It was Trish. They hadn't really talked since they had sex...on their first date. He was a bit apprehensive and debated on whether or not to pick up but he figured he should man up and at least talk to her.

"Hello?"

Trish looked down as her blood gushed out of her wound and onto her arm then gasped again as the pain in her body increased.

"Chris." Trish said .

"Trish? You okay?" he asked, getting worried. She sounded like she was in pain.

"I'm...in...a hotel. The Marriott...help." Trish muttered before she dropped her cell phone when she passed out.

"Trish? Trish!" he called out. He immediately grabbe dhis keys and his phone before heading to the Marriott. He sped the way there and by the time he got there, there was a small buzz about what had happened in the room Trish was in so it was relatively easy to find her. When he did his eyes widened. He ran inside and panicked a little. He grabbed the pillow off the bed and held it to TRish's abdomen. "gotta keepo the pressure on that." he said softly. He took his jacket off and tied it around the pillow to keep it tight around her stomach.

Then he picked her up and carried her to his car so he coudl rush her to the hospital.

Trish lied motionless and unconscious in Chris' arms, her skin starting to get paler.
