A Nasty Shock (anyone)

Dal walks into his hotel room. After dumping his bags on the floor he looks around. The hotel is pretty swanky and Dal has gotten used to this. He sits down on the bed and checking his mobile phone he finds a text from his sister Libby (He really has a sister but I don't know her name) asking him to call her. So he punches in her number. She picks up after the third call and when he says it's he who is calling she tells him she has some bad news. He listens as she tells him that his ex Rose has been killed in a car crash caused by a drunk driver. His daughter Nadine (I'm not using his daughter or partner's real names on here) wasn't hurt and is staying with them until more permanant arrangements can be made.

Dal realises the only real option is for Nadine to come to America and travel on the road with him so puts this to Libby. She wants to know what will happen when Nadine is old enough to start school. Dal guesses she'd be taught by a tutor and says as much. After some more discussion it is decided that they will proceed with Nadine joining Dal. Libby will fly with her to America and will return home again after Nadine is reunited with Dal. After Dal gets off the phone he starts to cry. He had still been fond of Rose even though it had been 6 months or so since they'd split up. He hears a knock at the door and deciding not to be rude invites the person at the door to come in.

Vanessa Walked up to Da's room to see if he was there. Ever scine meeting him she thought

he was cute. Would he think the same way about me? she waited for him to answer the

for him to answer the door.

Dal looks up hearing the knock.
"Come in," he calls out, drying his eyes, not wanting to be seen crying.

Vanessa walked into dal's hotel room and saw the look on his face it looked like he lost his best friend or something.

So she wondered if you was ok so she decided to ask.

"Hey Dal you alright Vanessa asked.

Dal looked at Vanessa and it was obvious he had tears on his cheeks.
"Oh hey Vanessa. No I'm not really ok. My ex partner has been killed in a car accident. My little girl is staying with my sister but will be coming here soon and will be travelling on the road with me. There isn't really any other option. I am not sure how soon she'll be coming as Libby needs to book a flight and that kind of thing," Dal said.

Ashe was making his way up to his hotel room after an exhausting day of training. As he made his way along the hall way he thought he recognised a voice from one of the rooms. If he wasn't mistaken it was Dal Knox who he'd worked with back when he was in IPW Australia. IPW Australia had a working agreement with IPW New Zealand and he'd been to New Zealand on several ocassions. He saw that one of the room's had it's door open and going past he saw that it was indeed Dal he'd heard.
"Hey hey hey if it isn't my old buddy Dal. How the dickens are you?" he asked.

Dal looked up startled by the sound of Ashe's voice.
"Is it really you Pete?" he asked, "I've been better. You remember Rose right? I introduced you to her after one of the shows back when were in IPW," he saw Ashe nod so continued, "Well I just found out that she's died. I've got sole custody of Nadine as we had joint custody," he explained.
A tear slid down his cheek and he hurridly brushed it away not wanting to be seen to be crying.

Peter looked dumfounded. He remembered Rose. This was horrible news.
"Are you sure you're ok? You don't look it," he said to Dal.
He had seen the tear slide down his cheek and he knew it must be devestating for Dal. From what he knew Dal and Rose had been together a long time before they'd broken up when Dal scored his deal with the WWE.

"Not really," Dal admitted.
He was still shocked to see Ashe there but it was a nice suprise. He had had no idea that Ashe had also made it to the WWE.

"I didn't' think you were ok. Man if there is anything I can do," Ashe said.

"Just being here is a help. I need company now. I don't think it would be a good idea to be on my own right now. Don't know what I might do," Dal said.

"Alright. So what exactly happened to Rose?" Ashe asked.

"Car accident. She had picked Nadine up from school and an idiot ran a red light. Rose died instantly. Nadine wasn't hurt," Dal said.

"I hope they caught the idiot," Ashe said.
