D Day

Punk had just returned from the doctor's office and he was completely cleared from all his nagging injuries. It was a good day for him...and he hoped it would get even better. He went to the flower shop and bought her this bouquet, then headed home. "Oh Lacyyyyyy..." he said as he went into the house.

Lacy was on the couch watching tv. All of the kids were down for a nap when Mary came by to take them so she had some time to catch her breath. "Yes?"

"Hello beautiful wife of mine." he said as he sat next to her on the couch. "I've got something for you."

She eyed him suspiciously. "What did you break?"

"Nothing." he said as he showed her the bouquet. "For you m'lady."

She took the bouquet. "...what did you spill?"

"Nothing." He snorted. "I went to the doctor and he said that I am 110 percent better with my knee and other injuries, so I wated to give you these as a thank you." He told her. "I know it hasn't been easy, but you've been great to me when it came to me getting better and everything. You seem to always be able to put up with me." He chuckled. "So thank you, Lace." He said. "I also got them for you because I love you very much, even if I don't show it or tell you often. I really do love you."

She smiled a little at his explanation. "The flowers are beautiful, and I love you too."

"You just know how to warm my heart." He said as e leaned down to kiss her. "Where are the minions?"

"Your mom took them to see Sophia. I needed a break."

"Ah." He nodded. "You certainly do." He said. "I'll tell you what, I'll set up a bubble bath for you and then give you a massage. That way you can relax."

"What's brought this on?"

"Well, I know we've had our ups and downs and we have been working on it. Since I'm finally cleared, I wanted to take care of you, make sure you're relaxed and just show you how much I love you."

"Show me how?"

"Well, like I said, you'll get a bubble bath and a massage." he told her. "We'll just cuddle up and relax, then I'll make my way to giving you some lovin'." he winked.

"So that's what this is about." she chuckled.

"It's not just that." he snorted. "You do a lot for me and I want to repay the favor. You hardly ever get time to yourself."

"Well I can tell you have your heart set on this." she said. "So I will let you."

He stuck his hand out. "Come on. I'll set up your bath for you."

She sat her flowers down and took his hand.

"Don't get too excited now." he teased her.

"Shut up." she snorted.

"Oh you're nice." he snorted as he lead her to their room.

"The nicest."

"mhm." he said. "Alright. I'll go set it up and then tell you when it's ready." he said as he kissed her cheek.
