"That's good." He nodded. "Well, good luck." He chuckled.

"Thanks. What's going on at your place?"

"Not much." He said. "Carly finally got the walking thing down."

"Sounds... exciting. And surprisingly calm, for your house.' he snorted.

He snorted. "I guess. Brandon is still off with me and makes me feel like a jerk." he told him.

"I hadn't heard of this." he said.

"Well, I think he feels left out sometimes and that I don't spend as much time with him. It's hard man, trying to make sure I spend a good amount of time with each kid. I don't like one of them feeling like I favor one more or whatever."

"Well he was the only child for a while." he said. "Maybe he's just jealous."

"I don't know." he said. "But I'm going to make a guy day with him and just let it be me and him for the day. We'll probably hit up a baseball game and do whatever else comes to mind."

"Well I hope he comes around."

"Me too." he said. "Anyway, I think I'm done here."

"Got everything you want, princess?" he teased him.

"I think so." he chuckled.

"then lets go pay for your fancy coloring books."

"Okay baby." he joked as he started heading to the register.

"Spoiled." he snorted.

"That's meeeee."

"Ha ha." he snorted.

"What?" he smirked.

"You're just.. weird." he snorted. "Okay, I have to ask. Have you and Lacy sorted things out? You didn't even speak to each other at the wedding."

He paid for his comics and thanked the guy. "I thought today was guy day." he said.

"Okay." he held up his hands in defense. "My bad."

He snorted. "All I can say is that she said she has no problem with me and I have no problem with her." he shrugged. "Hopefully when we go away it won't be all weird."

"Why would it be weird if you don't have any problems?"

He shrugged. "We hardly speak to each other and I'm hoping that we'll talk more on the trip. Plus, let's add to the fact that we haven't slept together in months. I don't know, maybe we're both grumpy because of it or something."
